Ride Lasso Snowboard Boot Review

Ride Snowboards makes one of our favorite boots, and we were so stoked on it that we had to share our love of this boot with everyone. Some of the unique things that separate this boot from others are the Michelin Outsole, Intuition liner, and the Double Boa lacing system.

The Michelin outsole is a rigid and durable sole that allows this boot to stay rigid while in the binding, as well as being tough and grippy  while hiking and walking on compact snow and ice.

The INTUITION liner is a heat moldable inner component that is an amazing compliment for comfort to this boot. The liner packs out over time and takes the imprint of the foot features to best conform to the unique nuances of each riders foot over time. Essentially the more time you spend in the boot, the more comfortable it becomes, and the more customized it becomes for your foot.

The Double Boa Lacing system is the cherry on top of these other amazing features and allows the user to be able to quickly tighten and loosen the boot with ease. No longer do you have to struggle with laces and undoing and redoing the laces to best fit to your foot. A quick pop of the BOA coiler knobs will allow you to efficiently tighten either the outside BOA lace, or the ankle BOA lace. The two different knobs control different tightening aspects of the boot. The front facing BOA tightens the outside of the shell, and the side facing BOA tightens over the instep of the tongue of the boot and pulls directly back into the heel pocket of the  boot. This means that you can lock your foot deep into the heel pocket to minimize heel lift, as well as cinch down around the rest of the foot in two separate steps to best customize the overall tightness of the boot over  your foot.

RIDE SNOWBOARDS SAYS:
It’s hard to top the combination of sophistication and toughness exuded by a good pair of cowboy boots, but you’d be a fool to try and snowboard in them. Enter the Lasso. The Michelin® Summit Sole grips the snow and ice much better than a manly 2-inch Cuban heel. You can’t just yank these boots on by the pullstraps, but the Tongue Tied™ BOA® Closure System may be the next best thing as its tongue integrated BOA® connects to a side-mounted reel to close the tongue and securely hold your heel. A BOA® Coiler™ Lacing system retracts excess coil for fast, secure shell lacing. Intuition™ Support Foam Liner Technology with Black Gold™ Liner Mesh provides a performance fit thanks to a heat-moldable, high-density foam and will keep you warm even after a full day on the mountain. The Lasso is a stiffer flexing boot designed for a rider looking for a responsive, comfortable ride with a hassle-free lacing system.
