Kiss and Tell Fridays

During the Summer on Fridays there is a fun Longboard Freeride Session at Kiss and Tell in Shoreline, Washington.

The hill called Kiss and Tell was where many Seattle Skaters learned to slide their longboards. This hill got its name during a time where people were very guarded about sharing spots to skate, and the Shoreline Crew, decided that this hill was a great place to learn, and decided to share the location with everyone. Some of the other skaters in the scene were admonishing the local crew for sharing the spot, and likened it to "Kissing and Telling" thus the name came about.

Where: 16th Ave NW, Shoreline, Washington, 98177

When: 4pm - Dusk During the 'summer' months

WHAT TO BRING: A longboard, Slide Gloves, Helmet, and other safety gear you need.

What is the Hill Like: Kiss and Tell is a dead end road with incredibly low traffic, and friendly neighbors. The pavement is really nice and consistent, and the hill starts out with a gradual slope, that gets steeper towards the bottom of the hill, and at the bottom of the hill there is a right hand 90º corner that proceeds into a gentle runout. Sliding skills are necessary in order to make the corner at the bottom of the hill.
